“Feelings are much like waves, we can’t stop them from coming but we can choose which one to surf…”
I saw the above quote on a friends display message on MSN, and it got me thinking, which lead me to write this. In our normal day to day life, we feel a lot of things, emotions. But I think the above quote just doesn’t speak about any kind of feelings, I think it speaks about Love.
Being humans, we get hit by cupid’s arrow a lot, but most of the times it misses our heart. When we see someone attractive, it is normal to get that feeling of attraction. Sometimes when someone speaks nicely to you or when you hear or see many positive points about someone, automatically some feelings are created for that someone.
I guess what I’m trying to say is, feelings come in numbers, but be wise in choosing the right one to go along with.

we don’t choose the wave which we surf on either, our heart chooses it for us.

I don’t think its that easy to choose the wave. If that was the case, then everyone would be happy or something.
